Im Juli 2023 war der offizielle Start des für viere Jahre laufenden Horizon Europe Projekts PYSOLO (PYrolysis of biomass by concentrated SOLar pOwer). Das 5 Mio € Projekt wird das Fundament für einen bahnbrechenden, neuartigen, voll und ganz erneuerbaren Prozess legen, in dem konzentrierende solarthermische Systeme für die Erzeugung von Strom (engl. concentrated solar power, CSP) und Biomassepyrolyse verknüpft werden
