Final Programme Released: Microplastic conference in Cologne from 23-24 November 2015

+++ Final programme released +++ Already 130 participants +++ Just 14 days left +++

23 – 24 November 2015, Maternushaus, Cologne, Germany

Today plastic particles can be found almost everywhere, including the air we breathe, the soil we cultivate, and even the oceans we use for fishing. Particularly for the latter, plastic particles smaller than 5mm – so called microplastics, are a tremendous source of pollution, threatening plants, animals and ultimately humans. In order to avert this threat, solutions preventing and removing the pollution with microplastics need to be found.

During the conference, the topic of microplastic pollution will be addressed from three major perspectives:

  1. What are the relevant sources for microplastic particles?
  2. What are the impacts caused by the microplastic pollution?
  3. Which kind of solutions are proposed by the industry, the politics and the public?

Meet our 32 speakers and get inspired by presentations from international leading companies, research institutes, universities and political bodies:
