Submit Your Innovative Product now: The Innovation Award “Renewable Material of the Year 2023

For the third time, a comprehensive award will be presented for the best renewable materials – which can be produced either from biomass, directly via CO₂ utilisation, or recycling

The award ceremony will take place at the Renewable Materials Conference (RMC) in Cologne/Siegburg from 23-25 May 2023.

The most exciting new materials made from renewable carbon will be nominated, all of which have one thing in common: They replace fossil materials in a highly innovative way. The products made out of renewable materials should already be on the market or their market launch should be scheduled in the foreseeable future. Ready-to-use fossil-free sustainable material solutions with a low carbon footprint are in fast-growing demand. Innovative brand owners are keeping an eye on such smart solutions, in particular those that will soon reach the mainstream. Present your renewable material innovation in this exciting competition.

The application period is open until 28 February

After the deadline, a jury consisting of the advisory board and sponsors of the conference will nominate the outstanding “Top 6” applicants prior to the event. The six nominees will have the chance to present their innovation in a 10-minute presentation to the entire professional audience on the second day of the Renewable Materials Conference (24 May). Following all six presentations, the audience will choose three winners who will be awarded at the innovation award ceremony (also on 24 May, in the evening). The RMC innovation award is sponsored by Covestro (Germany).

If you are interested and would like to apply, you can find all the information at: www.renewable-materials.eu/award-application/.

Additional information:

Please note that it is mandatory for the selected “Top 6” candidates to present their product at the conference on 24 May. Each “Top 6” candidate will receive a free 2-day ticket and additional tickets at a discounted rate.

About the conference

The brightest stars of Renewable Materials meet in Siegburg/Cologne (Germany), 23-25 May 2023. The unique concept of presenting all renewable material solutions at one event hits the mark: bio-based, CO2-based and recycled are the only alternatives to fossil-based chemicals and materials (www.renewable-materials.eu).

After its second edition, the Renewable Materials Conference with more than 400 participants has already established itself as one of the most important conferences for renewable materials worldwide. For May 2023, the RMC expects more than 500 participants and 30 premium exhibitors in a new, larger location in Siegburg, close to Cologne (Germany).

Located in Western Germany, Siegburg is easy to reach for international participants from France, Belgium and the Netherlands in only a few hours. The new location provides a large car park nearby and good connections to the Frankfurt, Cologne and Düsseldorf airports via the German high speed railway system.

Throughout three days, speakers from prominent companies will present and discuss many innovative renewable materials options – based on biomass, CO2 and recycling – in over 60 presentations and 14 panel discussions: The latest innovations and implementations in renewable materials. Don’t miss out on your comprehensive appearance at this unique and highly sought-after event.
