Opening of Biocomposite Bridge in Almere, NL

SCB Smart Circular Bridge, EU project INTERREG

SCB Smart Circular Bridge, which is in the form of a High-tech bridge built with flax to have an innovative aspect for climate protection. The bridge is made of biocomposites including natural flax fibers and bioresin, with integrated 100 sensors to provide daily data on the materials behaviour all day and in all seasons.
