nova Newsletter October 2016

Your monthly update on nova-Institute's activities

Newsletter-MC

Dear Readers,

Welcome to the golden October newsletter bringing you the most important news from nova-Institute and its partners:

  • The most exciting item is our upcoming conference “5th Conference on Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels, Chemistry and Polymers” (www.co2-chemistry.eu) taking place in Cologne, Germany from 6 -7 December. The event is the meeting point of the international “UseCO2”-community with professional matchmaking-tools and an exhibition. The first ten exhibitors can get a booth for free – six booths are still available. All details in the newsletter.
  • Those working in the field of bio-composites, WPC and NFC, shouldn’t miss the bio-based composites pavilion at Composites Europe, Düsseldorf trade fair, Germany, 29 November to 1 December 2016. There are still some booths available.
  • To earmark: submit your abstract, register for the “Bio-Based Material of the Year 2017” Award or secure one of the 10 first free exhibition booths for you. The “10th International Conference on Bio-based Materials” will take place in Cologne, Germany, from 10-11 May 2017. All details in the newsletter.
  • The relaunch of the “International Directory for Bio-based Businesses (iBIB)” (www.bio-based.eu/iBIB) was a great success: We registered already more than 33,000 accesses to the company profiles this year – which is an all-time record. Your company isn’t listed yet? A two-page entry is for free.
  • Last but not least we would like to introduce Barbara Dommermuth, who works in the field of CO2-use, bio-based news and competently supervises the iBIB. Learn more about her in the newsletter.

Kind regards,

Michael Carus
Managing Director, nova-Institut GmbH

P.S.: One more thing: Experts often ask themselves how circular and bioeconomy relate to each other. Isn’t bioeconomy more than just a small part of the circular economy? With our new graphic, which you’re welcome to use, we illustrate our position: “Bio-economy: More than Circular Economy”. We hope you like it.
