New public consultation on the circular economy

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the circular economy, with a view to preparing a new policy on the circular economy to be announced by the end of this year.

The consultation is very relevant for stakeholders with an interest in the bioeconomy, since the bioeconomy and the circular economy are closely linked. The deadline for responding to the consultation is 20 August. The consultation can be accessed here.

As part of this process, there will also be a stakeholders conference on the circular economy in Brussels on 25 June. See here for details and registration.
