Fibre Quality Workshop for young researchers

EC Multihemp Project Consortium offers multidisciplinary workshop to PhD students and Young researchers on January 18th 2016

The EC MultiHemp Project Consortium, in collaboration with a selection of experts, is offering a 1 day multidisciplinary workshop to PhD students and Young researchers interested in the multifaceted world of using natural fibre crops for industrial applications.

The workshop will be hosted by Simon Hawkins at the Université de Lille, on Monday January 18th, 2016.

Presentations will be given by Stefano Amaducci (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy), Jörg Müssig (Hochschule Bremen, Germany), Alexandra Lanot (University of York, UK), Simon Hawkins (Université de Lille, France), Brigitte Chabbert (INRA Reims, France) and John Vidmar (Alberta Innovates Technology Futures, Canada).

Attendance of the workshop is free of charge, and the Multihemp project will cover the travel costs (and overnight stay) of a selection of attendees (details available upon request).

To enrol for this workshop, you are kindly asked to send us an email to with the title of your project and a short abstract (max. 200 words) describing your research.
If you would like to be selected to present your research in the afternoon session of the workshop, please indicate this in your email
