Federal Award and regional rates of “Renewable raw materials” youth researches 2017

The Federal Prize "renewable raw materials" will be awarded on May 27, 2017 in Erlangen

This year, the BMEL in the ongoing round of competition by “Jugend forscht” awards the special prizes “Renewable raw materials” on federal and regional level.

Already 37 times the regional prizes each €75 could be awarded in 2017. Youth researches juries in nationwide over 80 regional competitions decide what work will receive the special award of “Renewable raw materials” dedicated an adolescent. Working title such as “Recycling of coffee”, “Direct methanol fuel cell as a supplier of renewable energy” or “Oil binding on the water” show the versatility of the award-winning works and the range of options to deal with the topic of “Renewable raw materials”.

The Federal Prize worth €1,500 “renewable raw materials” will be awarded on May 27, 2017 in Erlangen.
