Falken Industries Ltd (FLKI) has started enhanced operations at the expanded plant for the production of its biodegradable product line conceptions. Expansion of the existing European plant will increase production capacity for the biodegradable collection from 8,000 to 20,000 metric tons per year. At the same time, FLKI will ramp up compounding capacity for derivative products in the Clean Plus® branded Eco-pledge certified biodegradable product conceptions.
“We are already successful in the market with our unique biodegradable wet wipe productions and the related innovations that have derived from the policy accent placed on biodegradability. The larger production capacities will enhance our position significantly,” said Manuel Garcia Communications Officer at FLKI. “The capacity expansion will also enable us to respond even more effectively to our customers’ wishes.”
FLKI wipe and chemical conceptions are in use throughout the world and the new collection is fully biodegradable under industrial composting conditions in accordance with International Chemical Standards for ISO, DIN, JIS & EU Directives. “FLKI’s continuing success lies in large part on its international research, and the company’s well known policy to honor individuals and innovative projects that are especially committed to establishing a working culture of diversity within all operations,” added Garcia.
