European Bioplastics: Survey on the perception of bio-based plastics – We want to hear what you think!

Results will help to provide better insights and new impulses to shape and drive the future of the bioplastics industry

European Bioplastics (EUBP), the European association representing the bioplastics industry in Europe, is conducting a survey amongst the plastics industry and other related stakeholder groups on the perception of bio-based plastics.

Bio-based plastics are plastics made wholly or partially from biomass, i.e. renewable feedstock – most commonly plant-based resources such as corn, sugar cane, wood and similar.

EUBP wants to learn more about the perceived strengths, opportunities, challenges, and hurdles of bio-based plastics to unfold their full environmental, economic, and social potential in Europe. The survey aims to assess the general knowledge of and attitude towards bio-based plastics, sustainability aspects, material properties, innovation potential, and legislative measures. The results will help to provide better insights and new impulses to shape and drive the future of the bioplastics industry as essential part of the circular economy and new plastics economy.

The survey does not take longer than 10 minutes. Your data will be aggregated and analysed anonymously and treated as confidential according to the rules governing data protection.

Your input and help is greatly appreciated!
