Updates to the USDA BioPreferred Program’s Guidelines

USDA BioPreferred Program is informing of some recent changes and proposed changes to the Program’s Guidelines. These Guidelines establish and govern the BioPreferred Program’s mandatory federal purchasing initiative in part by listing categories of products that are eligible for preferred federal procurement. The Program recently finalized the addition of 12 product categories and proposed the addition of 30 more product categories for preferred federal procurement.

These finalized and proposed changes, as well as their expected impacts on Program participants, are discussed on our website. If you are interested in commenting on the proposal, it can be viewed in its entirety here, and the comment period is open through November 13, 2018.
