Uniqema acquisition by Croda

On 1 September 2006 Croda International Plc completed the acquisition of Uniqema from ICI plc.

Croda is a major producer of speciality chemicals derived from natural raw materials with operations in 26 countries. It has a reputation for innovation, quality and excellent service and the combined strengths of Croda and Uniqema will create one of the worlds leading natural chemicals companies.

Uniqema will continue to operate in its existing format until the end of 2006, after which the two companies will be fully integrated.
