Solegear Receives 5,800-Unit Purchase Order for Plant-Based Office Products

Sustainable Office Accessories to be Available Through Canadian Commercial Channels by Next Quarter

September 8, 2015— (Vancouver, BC) Solegear Bioplastic Technologies Inc. (TSX.V – SGB), in partnership with Columbia Plastics Ltd., received an initial purchase order from TOPS Products Canada, a leading distributor of office supplies, for 5,800 units of Starmark® branded desk organizer and accessory products that will be distributed through TOPS’ commercial channel to businesses across Canada.

The Starmark® Clip-Mate™, Memo-Mate™, File-Mate™, Pencil-Mate™, Self-Stacker and Desk Tray will be available through commercial catalogues as early as December 2015. These products will be produced exclusively using Solegear’s Polysole® LV1250 bioplastic, which includes 85% plant-based content, contains no hazardous chemicals or additives, and is fully recyclable and even compostable in industrial facilities.

Solegear and Columbia Plastics’ strategic partnership is targeting to gain share in the estimated $100 million Canadian office organizer and accessory market.
