P&G widens its fatty alcohol network

Procter and Gamble (P&G) and PT Domas Agrointi Prima of the Indonesian Sawit Mas Group signed a five-year fatty alcohol supply contract valued at USD 200 million. The contract is expected to be effective by the end of 2004 when Domas Agrointi Prima’s new facility comes on stream. The integrated oleochemical plant is currently being built in Kuala Tanjung, North Sumatra.
