
Verena joined the nova-Institute in December 2019 and has since been an integral part of nova’s communication department. She is primarily responsible for dissemination, communication, and exploitation within several EU-funded projects (PYSOLO, HICCUPS, PERFECOAT). Additionally, she supports nova’s conference team.
With a strong passion for sustainability in the textile and fashion industry, Verena is a natural fit for nova’s Cellulose Fibres Conference. She plays a key role in managing communication, press relations, and social media activities for the conference, ensuring seamless participation for both in-person and online attendees.
Background and Expertise
Verena holds a degree in social sciences from the University of Cologne and has completed dual vocational training, followed by professional experience at a mid-sized market research company in Cologne. She also earned a certificate in environmental economics from the University of Koblenz-Landau. Her diverse background equips her with a broad skill set, making her a valuable asset across many of nova’s business areas.
