Climate neutrality, zero pollution, green and digital transition, circular economy and other environmental topics have become top priorities in European policies. In order to reduce negative impacts, new policies have emerged to incentivise “more sustainable” products in chemicals and materials. This has been lately manifested by the provisional agreement on the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, the recently adopted Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, the Proposal for a Green Claims Directive, and more.
In addition, the EU has led the way on sustainability reporting obligations for all companies and their respective value chains with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. Companies, both big and small, are now compelled to adapt their strategies, operations, and reporting methods.
If you find yourself pondering about the intricate details of the new EU policy landscape for chemicals, materials and the new reporting obligations, you’re not alone. This webinar has been developed with the objective to dissect these policies, and promises to offer a comprehensive understanding of their nuances and implications for the future of the industry.
Standing on the threshold of Europe’s green transition, knowledge becomes our greatest ally. Stay tuned as we update you on the most relevant details of the new EU policy landscape for the chemicals and materials sector.
