nova experts (re)introduced: Dominik Vogt

Dominik Vogt is best known to many as the contact person for all questions regarding our large and small events. Part of the nova team since 2005, Dominik Vogt is a highly regarded expert in project and conference management at the nova-Institute.

From 2008 to 2020, he managed the executive office of the European Industrial Hemp Association, located at nova-Institute, and gained significant experience in industrial hemp and other natural fibres. In addition to event organization, he managed dissemination activities of various international research projects, where his scientific background as a geographer came in handy. Today, Dominik focusses on event management and organization.

Since 2013, Dominik has led the nova conference team. He is in charge of staff planning, public relations, website content, provides speaker support and the overall coordination of nova conferences.

Dominik’s biggest area of responsibility is overseeing the organization of the internationally well-respected annual events
• Conference on Cellulose Fibres (www.cellulose-fibres.eu),
• the CO₂-based Fuels and Chemicals Conference (www.co2-chemistry.eu),
• the Advanced Recycling Conference (www.advanced-recycling.eu)
• and the Renewable Materials Conference (www.renewable-materials.eu).

His scope further includes a broad variety of topic-specific workshops and the established nova Sessions.
