nova-experts introduced: Verena Roberts

Verena joined nova in October 2022 as Project Manager of the continuously growing Renewable Carbon Initiative (RCI) and is the point of contact for all international members of the RCI. She coordinates the RCI throughout its different areas (management level, projects, working groups, advisory board) and is responsible for the internal and external communication of the initiative (website, social media, newsletter, press releases). Verena is also driving the establishment, maintenance, and development of structures within the RCI. In addition, she monitors and evaluates the achievement of RCI-objectives and organizes webinars, workshops, and networking events.

Background and expertise

Verena is a Foreign Language Correspondent (English and Spanish) by trade and holds a B.Sc. in Psychology from the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. Born and raised in North-Rhine-Westphalia, Verena moved to Redondo Beach, California for four years to work as a Psychometrist in a psychologist’s practice. Currently, Verena is pursuing her M.Sc. in Psychology from the FernUniversität Hagen.
