
Luciano joined the nova-Institute team in June 2022 as a staff scientist and project manager. Having a comprehensive background in agriculture, bioeconomy and policies, he supports nova’s economy and policy team in various matters concerning policy analysis, market analysis, research and techno-economic evaluations. He currently is involved in various national and international projects for the European Union, such as STAR4BBS, and The World Bank evaluating bio-based products and materials.
Background and Expertise
Luciano obtained two master degrees from the University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart), the first one in Bioeconomy and the other in Agricultural Economics where he specialized in bioeconomic and agricultural policy and strategy. When he is not working, he enjoys expending his horizon by reading non-fiction books and cycling around Cologne.
