New oleochemicals plant in China

Taiko Palm-Oleo (Zhangjiagang) Co. Ltd., a joint venture between Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd and Taiko Marketing Sdn Bhd, will build a new oleochemical manufacturing facility located in the Zhangjiagang Industrial Estate, Jiangsu Province, China to initially produce fatty acids, glycerine and soap noodles. The plant will have an annual production capacity of 157,000 metric tonnes to cater principally for the China market.
