MHG Appoints New CEO of Company

Former President and CEO of Armor Holdings Products LLC Joins the Biopolymer Company

MHG, a leader in biopolymer manufacturing and specialty toll manufacturing services announced today their Board of Directors has approved a new Chief Executive Officer for the company. Stephen Croskrey will take over all duties of the role effective immediately.

One of Croskrey’s first undertakings is the planned expansion of the PHA pilot biorefinery eightfold. PHA is one of the newest technologies offered by MHG and is also the world’s first bioplastic to be certified as degradable in marine water. By expanding, MHG expects to increase PHA sampling activity and ramp up the customer application approval process.  Additionally, the company will commission an engineering study for the nation’s first commercial PHA biorefinery.  MHG plans to begin the process of expanding this summer.

Croskrey is a proven leader with more than 20 years of experience in providing leadership for companies that manufacture and sell products including industrial fibers, medical devices and law enforcement gear. He previously served as the President and CEO of Armor Holding Products LLC, a major manufacturer of armor systems for the military, law enforcement and commercial markets.

During his 6-year tenure at Armor Holding Products LLC, Croskrey completed 13 acquisition transactions, which resulted in the annual revenue increasing from $45 million to over $300 million.

In addition to his vast work experience, Croskrey holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and earned his Bachelor’s of Science in General Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

MHG recently announced the opening of a new division in the company, which will be dedicated solely to Specialty Toll Manufacturing. The opening of this division brings further visibility among major international customers that MHG can be a cost effective option due to their expertise, state of the art equipment, laboratories, logistic services and 70 million pounds of excess capacity.
