On 26 November 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 CET, CIRCONOMY project, in collaboration with the European Bioeconomy Network (EuBioNet), will host its first online Mobilisation and Mutual Learning (MML) workshop: “Connecting the Loops across European Circular Economy Projects”.

The event will bring together EU-funded projects and initiatives to exchange knowledge, connect complementary approaches and identify concrete opportunities for collaboration.

Measuring progress towards a circular economy requires practical indicators, reliable data and tools that support informed decisions by businesses, municipalities and households. European projects are addressing different aspects of this challenge. By connecting their expertise, activities and results, they can learn from one another and strengthen the impact of their work.

What to expect

The workshop will feature five-minute pitches from selected projects, presenting their objectives, expected outcomes, workplans, upcoming activities and main achievements. Projects listed in the agenda include CIRCULARIS, CircleUp, CIRCULOOS, Theseus, Bin2Bean, JUST-CIRCLE, CircHive and DATA4CIRC.

All participating projects will then be invited to contribute to an interactive collaboration mapping session using a shared Miro Board. Participants will map relevant activities and milestones along a three-year timeline, identify complementarities, and explore opportunities for joint action across five thematic areas:

  • Circular economy monitoring approaches and indicators;
  • Tools for circular economy monitoring and assessment;
  • Stakeholder engagement and capacity building;
  • Communication and dissemination;
  • Policy recommendations and policy engagement.

The session will help participants identify common interests, exchange relevant contact points and lay the groundwork for future joint activities.

Who should participate?

The workshop is aimed at representatives of EU-funded projects and initiatives working on circular economy monitoring, assessment and implementation. Project coordinators, work package and task leaders, communication and dissemination managers, and colleagues responsible for collaboration, clustering or synergies with other projects are particularly encouraged to attend. Relevant Project Officers and Policy Officers are also welcome.

Registration and programme

Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. Participants are invited to register by 25 November 2026 at 12:00 CET.
