Four French national agencies (The www.nomadeis.com, Industry and the Digital Sector, the French Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, the French Agency for the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency and the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development) aim to better understand the conditions that facilitate the selection of biobased products in public procurement.
The consulting companies Bio by Deloitte and Nomadéis have been mandated to carry out a study in order to:
– Identify which biobased products are currently available on the French market;
– Identify French public purchases which are most likely to use biobased products;
– Advise French public administrations on how to foster biobased product public purchases within public procurement.
They currently invite European producers of biobased products to a consultation which aims at understanding which biobased products are currently available in France and what are their characteristics.
