European Inventor Award 2011

Trophy made of ARBOFORM

Since 2006, the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Commission are awarding annually the European Inventor Award.

This award, which ranks among the world’s most important awards of patent-based inventions is featured in five categories: Industry, SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises), Research, Lifetime Achievement and Non-European Countries.

This year the “European Inventor Award 2011” trophy is fashioned from ARBOFORM, the renewable “liquid wood” material invented by the company TECNARO, located in Germany.

This prestigious project has been realized on behalf of the European Patent Office within a few weeks.

TECNARO was supported by Mr. Helmut Lutz (of company CastSolut & KLM GmbH), located in Ellwangen, Germany and Mr. Ulrich Abdinghoff (of company Hesse Lignal GmbH), located in Hamm, Germany.

The winners of the last year, Mr. Helmut Nägele und Mr. Jürgen Pfitzer are visibly relieved by the systematic implementation and are slightly proud of the great quality of the beautiful trophies made of ARBOFORM.
