CSM to sell North American, European bakery supply businesses

Denmark-based bakery and food ingredients manufacturer CSM has put its bakery supply businesses in North America and Europe for sale in a move to focus on its lactic-acid business.

CSM said that the sale proceeds will be invested in organic growth, bolt-on acquisitions for Purac and Caravan, reduce debt and return money to shareholders.
