A special exhibition on bioplastics and biopackaging will be held at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from April 21-27 during interpack 2005, the leading global trade fair of the packaging industry. “Innovationparc Bioplastics in Packaging” will provide information to trade visitors about the current level of development and potential applications.
It will cover an area of more than 400m2. IBAW, the International Association for Bioplastics and Biodegradable polymers, will be represented by 16 of its members and constitutes a major exhibitor in this section of the exhibition. The industry association expects high-ranking representatives from industry and politics at its forum events. The past three years have seen the worldwide market introduction of biopackaging, and the rapid growth in both range of products and number of users demonstrates the market potential.
