Group revenue was up 42%, to £19.1m, while its bioplastics division saw its revenue climbed by an impressive 47% to £16.2m.
The company’s chief executive, Paul Mines, was upbeat about the company’s performance, pointing to a changing plastics landscape for the upturn in performance. He cited the growing number of bans on traditional carrier bags around the world, and an associated search for bio-based alternatives, as being especially helpful.
