Bio-based News – Your information point for bio-based economy! – Free access to "The Portal for Bio-based Economy and Industrial Biotechnology” from 1 October 2013

The bio-based economy gets a new meeting point on the internet. On 1 October, “Bio-based News – The Portal for Bio-based Economy and Industrial Biotechnology” ( will start fresh with a new design and free access to all reports, compiled by a dedicated editorial staff every day.

For more than 14 years, the news portal “” has been offering up-to-date expert knowledge about everything concerning bio-based chemistry and materials. Here you can find new reports every day and a newsletter is published once a week. The archive contains already more than 12,000 reports and more than 3,000 companies.

So far, access to the portal required a fee, but starting from 1 October 2013, it will be completely free for everyone and will grow to be the central point of information for the whole branch. From now on, the portal will be financed by fee-based banners – at the start, already 20 companies are represented with their advertising.

The editorial staff of the nova-Institute wishes you many new insights and also new habits: visit once a day, it will pay off!
