AOCS award for research on new applications for glycerine

AOCS Industrial Oil Products Division is looking for nominations for a new award sponsored by the SDA (Soap & Detergent Association). The award, which consists of a $ 3.000 US honorarium and a commemorating plaque, will recognise outstanding achievement for research into new applications for glycerine with a particular emphasis on commercial viability.

Nominations should include a letter of max. 2 pages describing original research work in new applications and uses for glycerine and should be sent to the “SDA Glycerine Award Canvassing Chairperson – AOCS – P.O. Box 3489 – Champaign, IL 61826-3489 USA by December 1st, 2002.
