H&G Entsorgungssysteme GmbH and its affiliated companies (H&G) join Vidia Climate Fund I as the cornerstone of Vidia’s recently established platform in recycling technology, under the leadership of the co-investing owner-family Henrich.
With H&G, Vidia anchors its platform with an established category leader in recycling and waste-handling technology, a natural extension of the circular economy theme and conviction on driving the reduction of materials’ emissions. Together with EUROPRESS, the new platform now combines two market leaders whose technology and solutions keep materials in circulation on an industrial scale.
With more than 60 years in the market and headquartered in Burbach, Germany, H&G develops and builds market leading compaction and material handling systems, augmented by specialized tank systems. The company is a global technology and market leader in screw compactors. Its portfolio is backed by lifecycle service for blue-chip customers, particularly in retail and logistics, across more than 30 countries.
Vidia partners with Alexandra and Bernd Henrich, who remain significantly invested and, together with the experienced management team, will continue to lead the company into its next phase of growth.
Alexandra and Bernd Henrich chose Vidia as their partner on a continued growth path for H&G, optimally serving their customers through an expanded service offering and broader product portfolio.
Before the partnership with Vidia, H&G had already joined Vidia in acquiring a strategic stake in EUROPRESS Umwelttechnik GmbH to strengthen the further development of its portfolio of services and solutions while laying the foundation for a targeted expansion of its existing product portfolio with complementary technologies.
EUROPRESS’ channel balers, conveyor technology and complementary system solutions extend the joint portfolio into adjacent material streams and applications. For customers, the combination widens the offering from a single source: proven compaction and material handling systems, conveyer technology, backed by a unified service network across the global installed base.
Together with the H&G and EUROPRESS management teams, the focus for the new recycling and materials-handling platform is clear: expanding the service business, continuing to pursue international growth opportunities, and supporting operational growth through targeted investment.
