Following the successful completion of 2,000+ hours of Plas-TCat® process development trials, our Texas team is off to the races, converting Green Circle Certified post-consumer plastic waste into toluene-rich aromatic hydrocarbons for low-carbon intensity, high octane fuel blendstocks used in motorsports and aviation applications.
TCat-8 is now on track to produce:
🧪🧪 4,000 liters/month of toluene and mixed xylenes
🧪🧪 2,000 liters/month of benzene for conversion to cyclohexane
When blended with other 2nd generation products, these fuels deliver >65% greenhouse gas emissions reduction compared to fossil-based counterparts, a major step forward in redefining what’s possible in sustainable chemicals and fuels.
