ELCOMAP to generate alternatives in the production of low volume specialist components for high performance vehicles

A £100,000 research project has been launched which will evaluate the potential of bio-composite materials in the production of future automotive vehicle bodywork panels. The research, announced yesterday at Autosport International, will be carried out by Performance Engineered Solutions (PES), TEKS UK and the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) with Boeing.
