{"id":97600,"date":"2021-09-21T13:33:40","date_gmt":"2021-09-21T11:33:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/?p=97600"},"modified":"2021-09-21T13:35:24","modified_gmt":"2021-09-21T11:35:24","slug":"free-online-conference-on-carbon-capture-and-utilization-eco2nference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/free-online-conference-on-carbon-capture-and-utilization-eco2nference\/","title":{"rendered":"Free online Conference on Carbon Capture and Utilization (eCO2nference)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<p>Within the framework of our H2020 project BioRECO<sub>2<\/sub>VER (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bioreco2ver.eu\/\">www.bioreco2ver.eu<\/a>) and on the occasion of the opening of PKN Orlen&#8217;s R&amp;D Centre, we invite you to a free conference (eCO<sub>2<\/sub>nference) on \u201cThe future of CCU technology from a technical, political and social point of view in the world and Poland\u201d on&nbsp;<strong>7 October 2021&nbsp;<\/strong>PKN Orlen&#8217;s R&amp;D Centre in P\u0142ock, Poland (hybrid event).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the current market developments of CCU technologies and the political framework in Poland, Europe and the world, we would also like to present CCU innovations from laboratory-scale to semi-commercial scale as well as the latest findings on Life-cycle assessment and social acceptance from our BioRECO<sub>2<\/sub>VER project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme will take approximately half-a-day (9:40 am \u20132:15 pm CET) and includes contributions from inter alia, the Council for Environment, Energy and Natural Resources to the President of the Republic of Poland, the European Commission&#8217;s Directorate-General of Energy, the Belgian research institute VITO, AGH Academic Centre of Materials and Nanotechnology, ARKEMA, Ciech Group, nova-Institute, the industry association CO<sub>2<\/sub>&nbsp;Value Europe and of course PKN Orlen as host of the event.
