The renewable materials should already be on the market in products or their market introduction should take place in the foreseeable future. Companies looking for renewable materials should be able to source them soon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>The application period is open until 31 March.<\/h3>\n<p>After the deadline has expired, a jury consisting of experts of nova-Institute, <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-82096\" src=\"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/RMC_2021_Platz_1.png\" alt=\"RMC_2021_Platz_1\" width=\"150\" height=\"169\" \/>the advisory board and sponsors of the conference will nominate the outstanding \u201cTop 6\u201d applicants prior to the conference. The six nominees will have the chance to present their innovation in a 10-minute presentation to the entire professional audience on the first day of the Renewable Materials Conference (18 May 2021). Following all six presentations, the audience will vote for the three winners who will be awarded at the Innovation Awards Ceremony (also on 18 May 2021, in the evening). The Innovation Award is sponsored by Covestro.<\/p>\n<p>If the conference can take place as a hybrid event the \u201cTop 6\u201d will also present their innovations throughout the conference in a joint exhibition space provided by the nova-Institut. Furthermore, there is the possibility to book your own exhibition space.\u00a0In case conference will be\u00a0held as online event only, comprehensive presentation options will also be provided here.\u00a0Moreover, all winners and their innovations will be extensively highlighted in the subsequent media coverage. Overall, 300 to 400 participants are expected.\u00a0In 2019, more than 270 participants attended and 30 exhibitors were present. It was the second largest event on bio-based materials in Europe and continues within this new concept. The brand-new conference also integrates topics from the \u201cBiocomposites Conference Cologne\u201d and extends the conference with presentations on chemicals and polymers from CO<sub>2<\/sub> use (CCU) as well as new solutions from the field of recycling, so that the entire spectrum of renewable materials is covered.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will be probably held as hybrid event \u2013 as physical meeting in which an online audience participates as well. The physical conference will take place in Cologne, Germany. Due to the current Corona situation in Germany, we reserve the right to keep the conference format open, but will inform you in time whether the conference will take place as a hybrid event or online.
