These best-in-class spinners blend Naia\u2122 staple fiber with other sustainable fibers to meet the needs of manufacturers across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Naia\u2122 is responsibly sourced from sustainably managed pine and eucalyptus forests and plantations. Eastman has aligned its entire forestry supply chain with Forest Stewardship Council<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> sourcing standards, including controlled wood procedures. Eastman and its wood pulp suppliers hold FSC<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> \u00a0(C140711) and\/or PEFC\u2122 Chain of Custody certifications.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Eastman has partnered with Canopy to demonstrate its ongoing commitment to sustainable forestry management. The recently released 2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/hotbutton.canopyplanet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hot Button Ranking and Report<\/a> shows Eastman&#8217;s commitment to sustainable forestry management, as the company has been reported to have zero risk of sourcing from ancient and endangered forests.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-71628\" src=\"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/sustainable-fabrics.jpg\" alt=\"sustainable-fabrics\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/media\/2020\/02\/sustainable-fabrics.jpg 450w, https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/media\/2020\/02\/sustainable-fabrics-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Produced in a safe, closed-loop process where solvents are recycled back into the system for reuse, Naia\u2122 is made through optimized, low-impact manufacturing. Naia\u2122 is also certified as biodegradable in freshwater and soil environments and is compostable in industrial settings, having received the &#8220;OK biodegradable&#8221; and &#8220;OK compost&#8221; conformity marks from T\u00dcV AUSTRIA.
