Finnish AT-Tuote is launching an environmentally-friendlier industrial lubricant AT Renewable Penetrating Lubricant internationally. This is the world\u2019s first industrial lubricant with nearly 100% bio-based content. The product is based on a new formulation: 95% of its content is derived from renewable sources, Neste MY Renewable Isoalkane\u2122<\/a> being the key component.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"b255d1c460fdf23b_800x800ar\"Thanks to its primarily bio-based content, AT Renewable Penetrating Lubricant has a significantly smaller carbon footprint than fossil alternatives. 95% of the content is also readily biodegradable. As the spray lubricant has carbon dioxide as a propellant, it is also safe to use because of extremely low VOC (volatile organic compounds) content and its non-flammable nature.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis type of a penetrating lubricant is in general used to release corroded parts, as well as to clean and give light lubrication. New AT Renewable Penetrating Lubricant is developed from environmentally and user-friendly chemical components, and it performs even better than conventional penetrating lubricants. Combining renewable solvent and bio-based oil with a ceramic component enables dry lubrication and easy release. Non-flammable propellant is safe to use,\u201d says Jorma Virtanen, Managing Director at AT-Tuote.<\/p>\n

AT Renewable Penetrating Lubricant can be safely used in all industrial, automotive, DIY applications, and will be internationally launched in the Nordic Countries, Germany, the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil in spring 2020.<\/p>\n

Neste MY Renewable Isoalkane, used either as is or further distilled, is a long-lasting, safe and odorless alternative to traditional mineral oils. It can replace fossil-based content in multiple applications, such as in paints, coatings and lubricants. Neste MY Renewable Isoalkane is produced entirely from waste and residue oils and fats, and its use helps reduce fossil oil based emissions to the atmosphere. It is readily biodegradable in accordance with the OECD 301 test guideline, which makes it an environmentally-friendly component.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
