{"id":68731,"date":"2019-11-22T07:32:36","date_gmt":"2019-11-22T06:32:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/?p=68731"},"modified":"2021-09-09T21:25:50","modified_gmt":"2021-09-09T19:25:50","slug":"raven-sr-and-zanker-recycling-to-work-on-renewable-hydrogen-production-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/raven-sr-and-zanker-recycling-to-work-on-renewable-hydrogen-production-facility\/","title":{"rendered":"Raven SR and Zanker Recycling to work on renewable hydrogen production facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Raven SR, a Wyoming renewable fuels company, has signed a letter of intent with Zanker Recycling to provide the site and feedstock for Raven SR\u2019s first 25 dry-tonne commercial renewable hydrogen production facility, based on its multi-patented Steam\/CO2\u00a0patented system.<\/p>\n<p>Zanker Recycling in San Jose, California, is a solid waste and recycling company which processes more than 2,600 tonnes of mixed debris per day, diverting more than 80% of waste they receive from landfilling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to partner with Zanker Recycling to make our first renewable fuel facility a reality and divert even more waste from their landfills, turning it into clean, non-combustion fuel sources,\u201d said Matt Murdock, CEO of Raven SR.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis letter of intent is an important first step in bringing green, renewable hydrogen to the northern California market to help meet the California Energy Commission\u2019s goal that transportation hydrogen be at least 33% renewable and have a carbon intensity of 30 or less. Our fuels meet and exceed that requirement, and the California EPA has previously ruled our technology as a non-incineration process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Raven SR\u2019s non-combustion, multi-patented, Steam\/CO2 reforming process converts mixed feedstock (biogenic and non-biogenic) into renewable fuel products such as hydrogen, diesel, methane and Fischer-Tropsch fuels.<\/p>\n<p>The non-combustion process has minimal air emissions and significantly reduces greenhouse gases from start to finish.
