Damit lieferte die Produktion aus Wasserkraft, Windenergie, Biomasse, M\u00fcll und Photovoltaik acht Prozent des gesamten Stromverbrauchs in Deutschland. Das meldet der Verband der Elektrizit\u00e4tswirtschaft (VDEW) nach ersten Sch\u00e4tzungen. <\/p>\n<p>Ung\u00fcnstige Witterungsbedingungen d\u00e4mpften laut VDEW die Ausbeute. So habe die Wasserkraft im Hitzejahr 2003 mit 20,4 Milliarden Kilowattstunden rund 15 Prozent weniger Strom geliefert. Der Zubau neuer Anlagen lie\u00df das Aufkommen an Windenergie trotz Flauten um 16 Prozent auf 18,5 Milliarden Kilowattstunden steigen. In Biomasse- und M\u00fcllkraftwerken seien 5,6 Milliarden Kilowattstunden Strom erzeugt worden (2003: 4,9 Mrd. kWh).
