Sie werden Miscanthus anbauen, um das erste mit Chinaschilf befeuerte Kraftwerk in Gro\u00dfbritannien zu versorgen. Die Anlage wird durch die Firma <a href=\"http:\/\/www.talbotts.co.uk\/\" >Talbott\u2019s Ltd.<\/a>, einem Hersteller von Biomassesystemen, realisiert.<\/p>\n<p>Nach Informationen der Zeitung <a href=\"http:\/\/www.expressandstar.com\/\" >Express &#038; Star<\/a> werden durch das Kraftwerk, welches bis zum Jahr 2006 fertiggestellt sein soll, ungef\u00e4hr 80 neue Arbeitspl\u00e4tze entstehen. Die produzierte Energie wird f\u00fcr die Versorgung von 4.000 Haushalten ausreichen. Das Biomasseprojekt wird durch \u00f6ffentliche Mittel in H\u00f6he von 500.000 \u00a3 (ca. 705.000 EUR) gef\u00f6rdert. <\/p>\n<p>(Vgl.
