Today at the Outdoor Retailer (OR) Show in Denver, Colorado, Gear Junkie awarded Igloo\u2019s latest product, \u201cRecool\u201d as its 2019 \u201cBest in Show\u201d for its innovative and environmentally friendly design. \u201cRecool\u201d is comprised of 100% biodegradable materials and is made in the USA from molded pulp.<\/strong><\/p>\n Igloo\u2019s VP of Marketing, Brad Blankinship states, \u201cThe Igloo team and I are extremely proud of the positive feedback we\u2019ve received at the Outdoor Retailer show and are looking forward to making a positive impact for our environment.\u201d<\/p>\n The product was created to provide consumers an economical and environmentally conscious alternative to single-use Styrofoam coolers.<\/p>\n Igloo will launch its \u201cRecool\u201d cooler exclusively at REI stores in April 2019 and nation-wide soon after. \u201cRecool\u201d has a suggested retail price of $9.99.<\/p>\n For the past several years, Gear Junkie has recognized and honored some iconic brands and products in the outdoor industry with the \u201cBest in Show Award.\u201d As a \u201cBest in Show\u201d winner, the Igloo \u201cRecool\u201d has gained recognition for its patent pending design and environmentally conscious efforts.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Born from a modest metalworking shop back in 1947, Igloo has been instrumental in redefining how we live, work and play.
