The events attracted a broad range of participants, from researchers and professionals to curious students, across all age groups. Initiatives throughout the week were as diverse as the organisers themselves. They included conferences, workshops, hands on laboratories, exhibitions and open-door days with companies, research institutes and museums. The opening of the exhibition was hosted by MEP Christofer Fjellner and was attended by policymakers, scientists, industry peers and a large number of students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiotechnology is delivering solutions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biotechweek.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">European Biotech Week<\/a> enables us to show and share this great potential with society and the local communities.
