Nach Angaben des Vorsitzenden der Acres-Initiative, Chemie-Ingenieur Prof. Richard Wool, sei das Augenmerk auf H\u00fchnerfedern gefallen, weil diese einen hohlen, jedoch stabilen Schaft haben. Au\u00dferdem enthalte die Federstruktur reichlich Luft. <\/p>\n<p>Der Chip aus H\u00fchnerfedern wird durch ein Harz gebunden, welches aus Sojabohnen gewonnen wurde und gleicht optisch einem konventionellen Computerchip aus Silikon.
