Parts such as food trays, lids, containers, cups, and clamshells are loaded into an auto\u2013stacking-counting station, an integral part of the OMG thermoforming system. Parts are then mechanically discharged onto a final packing station.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-52044 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/braeter.png\" alt=\"braeter\" width=\"240\" height=\"118\" \/>At the NPE, OMG will be thermoforming Advanced Extrusion\u2019s 100% crystallized compostable CPLA food trays during the opening hours of the show. The material \u2013 plant-based PLA resin &#8211; is able to withstand surface temperatures of up to 250\u00b0F and is microwave friendly. What\u2019s more, OMG will use the same CPLA tooling to thermoform AEI\u2019s CPET withstanding temperatures of minus 20\u00b0F up to 375\u00b0F intended for conventional ovens.
