The print edition will be available on newsstands nationwide in the United States starting Friday, Nov. 17.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of Michelin and the many designers and engineers involved in bringing the Vision concept to life, we are honored to receive this recognition from the editors at TIME Magazine,\u201d said Terry Gettys, global head of research and development for Michelin Group, based in Clermont-Ferrand, France.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe the Vision concept is as beautiful as the natural world that inspires it, combining multiple technologies that together project the course for Michelin\u2019s innovation in the years ahead,\u201d Gettys said. \u201cThe ideas presented in the Vision concept have taken hold among vehicle designers, demonstrating a feasible vision of how the tire can provide essential contributions to sustainable mobility in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Vision concept tire, introduced earlier this year at Michelin\u2019s Movin\u2019On summit for sustainable mobility in Montr\u00e9al, represents an innovative combination of four technologies: airless, organic, rechargeable and connected.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-47798 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/LMW0039___Copy-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"_LMW0039___Copy\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/media\/2017\/11\/LMW0039___Copy-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/media\/2017\/11\/LMW0039___Copy-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/media\/2017\/11\/LMW0039___Copy-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/media\/2017\/11\/LMW0039___Copy.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><strong>Airless.<\/strong> The Vision concept is an airless tire-and-wheel assembly, dramatically advancing the Michelin X TWEEL Airless Radial, which was selected as one of Time\u2019s \u201cBest Inventions\u201d in 2005 and is now commercially available for specific industrial and low-speed applications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organic<\/strong>.
