{"id":45004,"date":"2017-08-07T07:29:19","date_gmt":"2017-08-07T05:29:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/?p=45004"},"modified":"2017-08-07T08:47:32","modified_gmt":"2017-08-07T06:47:32","slug":"braskem-green-plastic-comes-to-organic-coffee-packaging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/braskem-green-plastic-comes-to-organic-coffee-packaging\/","title":{"rendered":"Braskem Green Plastic comes to organic coffee packaging"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Braskem and Uni\u00e3o Pl\u00e1sticos, a company that manufactures and markets flexible plastic packaging, have partnered with Cooperativa de Agricultores Familiares de Po\u00e7o Fundo e Regi\u00e3o (COOPFAM) in Minas Gerais to supply the Green Plastic entitled I&#8217;m green<sup>TM<\/sup> for the production of organic coffee packaging.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With an annual distribution of four tons of organic coffee, COOPFAM is a reference in organic, solidary and agroecological agriculture, benefiting more than 400 families of small coffee growers of municipalities in the south of Minas Gerais. The use of polyethylene of a renewable origin is another aspect for the sustainability of the cooperative. This is the first packaging of organic coffees that bets on the use of Green Polyethylene in the Brazilian market.<\/p>\n<p>Green Plastic is a combination of innovation, technology and sustainability.
