Lygos is a spin-off from the lab of Professor Jay Keasling, Director of the Joint BioEnergy Institute in Emeryville, CA.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>One of the most interesting sustainable chemicals targets around is malonic acid, and Lygos proposes to make it.
