It was never easier or less bureaucratic to get financial support for services carried out for your SME that is working on bio-based innovation. All details in the newsletter.<\/li>\n<li>29 November \u2013 1 December: <strong>Bio-based composites pavilion at Composites Europe<\/strong>, D\u00fcsseldorf trade fair, Germany. There are still some booths available.<\/li>\n<li>6 \u2013 7 December: \u201c<strong>5<sup>th<\/sup> Conference on Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels, Chemistry and Polymers<\/strong>\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.co2-chemistry.eu\" target=\"_blank\">www.co2-chemistry.eu<\/a>) in Cologne, Germany. It\u2019s the meeting point of the international \u201cUseCO2\u201d community with professional matchmaking tools and an exhibition. All details in the newsletter.<\/li>\n<li>The European projects <strong>ZELCOR<\/strong> and <strong>STAR4BBI<\/strong> were recently launched. They deal with <strong>termites as mini biorefineries<\/strong> and the <strong>legal framework conditions of the bioeconomy in Europe<\/strong>; read the exciting details in the newsletter.<\/li>\n<li>Next year, several interesting new European projects on bio-based economy will start, in which nova-Institute will be involved with tasks such as dissemination, life cycle assessment, techno-economic evaluation or market research. Zelcor is a 6.7M\u20ac collaborative project led by INRA with18 organisations from 8 countries, including 6 academia, 8 SMEs, and 3 corporations. At the end of 1994, he and five other scientists founded the nova-Institut GmbH \u2013 nova-Institute for Ecology and Innovation. Ever since the beginning, Carus has been involved in the company as owner and one of two Managing Directors. From six employees back then, nova-Institute has grown to employing about 30 people by now.<br \/>\nSince then, the bio-based economy is the main area of Michael Carus\u2019s work. Oktober 1956 in K\u00f6ln geboren.
