It makes an excellent substitute for traditional PE and PET because it has the same properties, yet it is completely recyclable.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy using biomaterials our customers contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, thereby protecting the environment and avoiding unnecessary waste,\u201d said Niels D\u00fcring, Global Executive Vice President Plastic Packaging.<\/p>\n<h3>Green PE or PET made from sugarcane<\/h3>\n<p>Sugarcane is one of the substances used to make biomaterials You take the ethanol from the sugarcane plant and then put it through a dehydration process to transform it into green ethylene.
