We want to familiarize people with the options and challenge them to think differently about how to get the greatest performance from the materials they have to work with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The report, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/global-renewable-chemicals-market-2015-2020----alcohols-biopolymers-platform-chemicals--others-breakdown-of-the-84-billion-industry-300176015.html\" target=\"_blank\">Global Renewables Chemicals Market 2015-2020<\/a>, includes alcohols, platform chemicals and biopolymers, forecasting that biopolymers will see double-digit growth over the next five years due to growing demand for eco-friendly products.<\/p>\n<p>DuPont currently offers the industry\u2019s widest range of bio-based, engineering grade polymers with a variety of performance attributes that range from strong and stiff to flexible. These materials are used in vehicle components, residential carpets, sporting goods and cellphones. Many of the new products have earned innovation and sustainability awards. The radiator end tank in the Toyota Camry, for example, is made from renewably-sourced nylon from DuPont. It captured the Most Innovative Use of Plastics award in the Environment Category from the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Automotive Division<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiopolymers have quietly infiltrated many markets based on the combination of environmental and performance benefits,\u201d said Rick Bell, development manager for DuPont Performance Polymers. \u201cThat combination will continue to drive higher-value consumer products.
