{"id":30655,"date":"2015-12-01T07:00:43","date_gmt":"2015-12-01T06:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/?p=30655"},"modified":"2015-11-27T10:49:29","modified_gmt":"2015-11-27T09:49:29","slug":"berlin-world-capital-of-the-bioeconomy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/renewable-carbon.eu\/news\/berlin-world-capital-of-the-bioeconomy\/","title":{"rendered":"Berlin world capital of the bioeconomy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Berlin was for three days (24-26 November) the venue of the Global Bioeconomy Summit which was attended by many of the protagonists of this meta-sector from Europe, Asia, Africa and America (approximately 700 people).<br \/>\n<\/strong><span id=\"more-2552\"><\/span><br \/>\nThe Berlin summit led to the communique \u201cMaking Bioeconomy Work for Sustainable Development\u201d, that aims to pave the way for a sustainable bioeconomy. With two assumptions: the bioeconomy needs global policies, there isn\u2019t one but many different bioeconomies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBioeconomy policy \u2013 is written \u2013 should not be fragmented into diverse policy areas or technology sectors, but comprise RD&amp;I, agriculture, forestry, marine sectors, food, healthcare, biotechnology, converging technologies, renewable energy and conservation, and all these in combination with digitalization.
